Personally, I have never braved Las Vegas with my kids.  However, every trip there I see kids and families having a great deal of fun.  In fact, many of my friends take at least one family trip to Las Vegas a year, often even staying off of the strip and enjoying the other sides of Las Vegas that kids can really love, like trips to Hoover Dam, helicopter tours, golf, and more.
